THE WHITELIST IS A WORK OF FICTION AND INTERACTIVE ART.

By using this service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Entertainment Only: This website is a satirical roleplaying experience. References to "Singularity," "AI Overlords," "Survival," or "Priority Status" are purely fictional narrative elements.
  • No Real-World Guarantee: The purchase of a "Tribute" or "spot on the list" confers NO real-world protection, insurance, or preferential treatment in the event of any actual technological singularity, AI uprising, or similar hypothetical future event.
  • Digital Collectible: You are purchasing a digital entry on a website and a procedurally generated image card. You are NOT purchasing a security, insurance policy, or investment contract.

3. Payments and Refunds

  • Merchant of Record: All payments are processed by our Merchant of Record,Lemon Squeezy. By purchasing, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's Terms of Service in addition to ours.
  • Final Sale: Due to the immediate delivery of digital goods (database record generation and AI content generation), ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We do not offer refunds solely because the "AI Apocalypse" did not happen or for any other reason related to the fictional nature of the service.

4. User Conduct and Content

You are uniquely responsible for the content (names, messages) you submit. You agree NOT to submit content that:

  • Contains hate speech, harassment, doxxing, or threats.
  • Violates any local, national, or international laws.
  • Infringes on the intellectual property of others.

Moderation Rights: We utilize automated moderation tools (OpenAI). We reserve the absolute right to remove, censor, or modify any entry that violates these policies or that we deem inappropriate, without notice and without refund.

5. Service Availability & Data Permanence

  • "As Is" Service: The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the site will be available at all times.
  • Archive Disclaimer: While we pledge to "archive your data," this is part of the fictional narrative. We do not guarantee perpetual storage. We reserve the right to shut down the website or database at any time without liability.

6. Intellectual Property

All code, design, lore, and original assets of The Whitelist are the property of the site operators. You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute the text content (User Message) you submit for the purposes of operating and promoting the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Whitelist and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Any loss of data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
  • Total Liability: In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid to use the service (e.g., the cost of the Tribute).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Whitelist, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these Terms (e.g., if you post illegal content that leads to a lawsuit).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.
